The facturx.net website

This is a static showcase website. It sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party analytics. No personal data is collected while you browse.

The FacturX application

On behalf of the stores that install it, the application processes the data required to issue invoices:

• order data (products, amounts, taxes) transmitted by Shopify;
• the end customer's billing details (name, address, and where applicable the company name, SIRET and VAT number voluntarily provided during a business purchase);
• the issued PDF invoices.

This data is processed for the sole purposes of issuing, delivering and archiving invoices, and of preparing the merchant's accounting and e-reporting exports.

Retention periods

Issued invoices are accounting documents subject to a legal retention obligation of 10 years (article L. 123-22 of the French Commercial Code). They are kept for that period, including in the event of an erasure request, as the legal obligation prevails (article 17.3.b GDPR).

Shopify privacy webhooks

The application honors Shopify's GDPR webhooks (customers/redact, shop/redact, customers/data_request): data not subject to the accounting retention obligation is purged upon receipt.

Hosting and transfers

Data is hosted on servers located in the European Union (DigitalOcean). It is never sold, rented or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
